The fall season was great. It consisted of all the good things.
You may be thinking of leaves changing colors, apple pie and Thanksgiving.
But I, on the other hand, am thinking of HALLOWEEN, HAWAII and HALFS.
Halloween was a great event this year.
This year was the first year that our family chose a theme to dress up as.
We felt so "family-ish."
Getting in and out of the car with our costumes on was a great ordeal,
ESPECIALLY the dress I was wearing, which was made for an 8 year old.
AND instead of the tin man looking for a heart, he was always looking for duct tape to fix his cardboard box made of aluminum foil.
And the scarecrow? well, he was looking for his brain the whole time.
Although he looked more like a robber looking for cash.
And sweet little lion was looking for courage, but
was more annoyed by the conundrums of the costume and switched courage for contempt.
And HAWAII???
Need I say MORE?
Yes. Can I go back soon?
AND last but not least....
HALF MARATHONGS
At least at one of my races I felt like I was wearing a thong.
The HAWAII half was so hot, I barely wore a thing at all.
I had the best racing season I can remember.
I am all raced out for sure!
Here are my race stats for this season:
August 8km race: 36min
September Police 10km challenge: 43 minutes and about a dime or quarter
October Kelowna Half marathon: 1:32:25- A COMPLETE lie- Garmin says that it was only 12.8 miles.
October Cultus Lake Trail run 16 km of pure torture (It was more like a swim though): 1:28:21-
November Hawaii Half marathong: 1:37:55
November Seattle Half marathon: 1:38:13

mele kalikiamaka! Cute halloween picture. Halloween in Hawaii is fun since we don't have to worry about the cold. Most people sit out side to hand out candy!
Sounds like you are following a theme..Some people do FAVE FIve's but you love the H's. I will vote you the next host to post your favorite H's. Why don't we do the whole Alphabet.
What a wonderful time in Hawaii...Many memories and last night a small voice told me that he was dreaming that he could go back.
