MAKE UP MY MIND

So I stand here getting ready to go to my big bro's movie production in Vancouver.
I guess I should 'TRY' to put myself together so as to look a little presentable.
After all, those who know me, KNOW that it is always a task for me to dress up.
To put it simply...
I do not like dressing up, and looking all pretty.
I feel like an idiot when I put on make-up most of the time.
I am the most comfortable when I am in running clothes,
Cause I don't have to think about getting ready; it comes natural.
So actually having to get ready for a nice event, can be a chore.
Dressing up for me would be the following:
Find a dark pair of jeans,
pair it with a black shirt.
And finish off with flat black shoes.
So I stand here only attempting to put on make-up-
which I will end up taking off before I leave.
You see,
a couple of months ago I bought some makeup brushes in attempt of actually learning to use them.
They have pretty much sat there 'looking pretty' so to speak.
And there are like six different brushes....? what the???
I am not joking.....
Ok, there is one called a Powder Brush,
One called a Shadow Brush,
One called a Eye Contour Brush,
One called an Eye Defining Brush,
And a Multi Purpose Brush...
So my question is...
If there is a MULTI PURPOSE BRUSH
Why do we need the rest of the brushes??????????
I can use that ONE brush for everything.
Right now, my son Silas is using it as a toothbrush,
so I guess Multi Purpose stands correct.
Dusting the furniture?
Possibly.
A tickle tool?
Absolutely, for sure- without a doubt.
Kids' paintbrushes?
Great idea....
I am sure the paint or makeup or whatever, will look better on paper than on my face.
Sorry, gotta RUN; Literally, gotta run.
At least I don't have to 'put on my face' to do that.
Just gotta put on my 'runner's face'.. which, after the run,
Will look like it was rolled in blush.
Oh, and after my shower,
I need to fish out those dark jeans out of the laundry.
