What a day!

Yesterday was tiring, exhausting and seemed to take FOREVER.
We made it to Hawaii yesterday evening, but not without challenge.
The kids were overall pretty well behaved on the plane.
The biggest challenge was getting them to sit nicely for 6 hours.
I had everything you can imagine to keep them entertained...
But, you know how it goes moms,
it seemed to be everything else that kept them entertained-like the silly things.
Buttons, the window thing that slides up and down, sporks (a fork and spoon combined)
And the noise of the toilet- which scared Levi to the point where he actually had someone help him flush it.
The flight was delayed by about 45 minutes..not too bad.
So our 6 hour flight came to completion.
There we were, at the last destination....the bag claims.
Or, should we call it the 'bags that were not there section.'
Yep, you guessed it...our bags were lost.
I was NOT impressed.
We are here in Hawaii-no bathing suits, no toothbrushes, no clothes.
NOTHING
And this BUGS me.
My husband held it together and was very relaxed about the lack of stuff.
He said that we could simply go buy what we needed.
Love that easy free attitude, but that is SOOO not me.
So we picked up a few things on our way to the hotel.
We park the car and I am sighing with relief that we are finally HERE.
We get to the hotel room, but the key is not working.
We are all standing there with like 4 bags each of groceries and such.
We realize that we are at the WRONG building.
So, there we go again, go back to the car, put everything in the trunk and drive to the RIGHT building.
We finally got there....the key worked. We ate our subs.
And we all went to bed in our UNDERWEAR.
I am sitting here in Hawaii, of all places, wearing long jeans, and using a computer.
What an oxymoronical situation I am in.
Shouldn't I be sitting on the beach, or running along the ocean?
Yes, I should, but I don't want to be doing those things in my underwear.
Instead, we are waiting here wondering when our bags will arrive.
AND No, we are not all sitting here in our underwear.
Just the same clothes that we have been wearing for the last three days.
